Event Terms & Conditions
Become a Partner

These terms and conditions apply to any registrant (speaker, attendee or other participant) at a MAGI event, on behalf of MAGI, a unit of WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG), and its suppliers.

MONEY-BACK SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: MAGI strives for 100% attendee satisfaction. Nevertheless, if you attend an event as a delegate and are dissatisfied with the experience, we will refund your registration fee, provided you have created a personalized schedule and submitted your feedback forms so we can attempt to prevent similar issue(s) in the future. At MAGI's sole discretion, this term might not apply to force majeure incidents.

CONTENT OF EVENT: The event program and speakers might change or be cancelled without notice. Views expressed by speakers are not necessarily the views of MAGI nor the speakers' respective organizations. MAGI accepts no liability for any such content, changes, cancellations or views. Session, workshop, lunch, etc., capacities are limited, so we might not be able to accommodate late arrivals.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CONTACT HOURS: Check with your professional organization to verify that any CME, CNE, CLE, CCB or other hours available through the event qualify for your continuing education requirements.

ELECTRONIC RECORDINGS & MATERIALS: By participating in the event, you acknowledge that MAGI may take photographs and make electronic recordings of the event; and you agree that your image and voice may be included in such recordings and used by MAGI for educational, promotional and commercial purposes. Video chat hosts may make recordings. In addition, speakers grant MAGI the right to use slides and other speaker materials at future events and for other purposes. Audio/video recording or photography of any presentation or presentation materials -- at both in-person and virtual events -- requires MAGI's or the speaker's advance permission.

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE: MAGI may disclose to certain exhibitors or event sponsors attendee job titles and employers,  but not names, telephone numbers, or email addresses. However, if you interact with an exhibitor or event sponsor at a virtual event, that sponsor will be able to access your information. MAGI does not sell or rent attendee lists.

NON-SOLICITATION: To maintain the event's non-commercial atmosphere and to protect our exhibitors and their investment in the event, non-exhibitors may not solicit participants or engage in “suitcasing,” or “outboarding” in the exhibit hall, public areas, guest rooms, or nearby restaurants, clubs or any other public places of assembly. “Suitcasing” refers to non-exhibiting companies or persons that go to an event as a speaker or attendee but “work the aisles” from their briefcase or solicit business in the aisles, lobby or any other common areas. “Outboarding” refers to non-exhibiting companies that set up exhibits or events at off-site locations. In addition, attendees and non-attendees may not conduct any event that competes with an official event sanctioned and publicized by MAGI. These prohibitions also apply to MAGI “branding” partners, except that such partners may interact informally with other event attendees. Only branding and marketing partners may place marketing or employment literature on the literature or information table, and no-one may distribute marketing or employment literature except in their own exhibit booth or in a one-on-one, face-to-face manner. Violators will be asked to leave the event and may be prohibited from participation in future MAGI events.

DISCOUNTS: Applicable discounts must be taken at time of registration -- they are not retroactive. Discounts are available retroactively with a $100 processing fee per person. Only one discount code can be used for a registration, including a group discount code. Other restrictions apply. Speakers do not count toward group membership, since they get in free.

Send requests by mail, fax or email to with a full explanation. You may cancel your event registration provided notice is received by MAGI at least 30 calendar days prior to the event . If you believe you overpaid your registration fee, you must request a refund prior to the event. Attending without registration or sharing a badge is not permitted. Registration payment received after an event is subject to a $100 late fee.

Or, you may substitute any other employee or member of your company or organization. Requests for transfers and substitutions must be received by MAGI by mail or by email at least 10 calendar days prior to the event. The substitute registrant must have a valid account profile on the MAGI website. There is no charge for the first transfer or substitution, but a $100 administrative fee for any more. Other terms apply.

VENUE/DATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE: MAGI reserves the right to reschedule the date and/or change the venue of the event, provided notice of such change is sent to you at least 30 calendar days prior to the original date of the event. If MAGI changes the date and/or venue of any event less than 30 calendar days prior to the original date of the event, MAGI may reduce registration fees and/or issue refunds based on the circumstances, at its sole discretion. If MAGI cancels a event for any reason other than force majeure, a complete refund will be made of your registration fee for the event. In the case of force majeure, or if you otherwise agree, MAGI will transfer your registration to a future event within 13 months. Under no circumstances does MAGI assume any liability for any travel, lodging or other costs related to the event, whether or not you have paid or committed to pay such costs in anticipation of the event.

MAGI disclaims any responsibility for any harm, injury or loss resulting from your use or consumption of any food, beverage or other product at or around the event, including but not limited to those provided by the hotel, exhibitors and MAGI itself.

VIRTUAL EVENTS: Some terms and conditions that make sense for in-person, physical events do not apply to "virtual" events or activities held online, i.e., "in the cloud." Event participants are responsible for ensuring that their hardware, software and Internet technologies are functioning properly for the event. Support may not be available just prior to a session. In a virtual event or activity, you may not (a) allow persons not registered for the event to participate in the event, e.g., by sharing your login name and password or your computer screen, (b) engage in "Zoom bombing," i.e., posting inappropriate content in an online presentation or discussion, or (c) engaging in any other action that interferes with proper functioning of the event for all registered participants.
